Return Policy

Sales Terms and Conditions

1) RETURNS – A restocking fee (minimum 25% of purchase price) will apply to products authorized for return. All units requested to be returned to TA must be in new condition, in original packaging and must be within 7 days of delivery or pick-up. TA reserves the right to decline returns. All ventilation products are final sale and are not returnable or refundable.

2) DEFECTIVE/DAMAGED PRODUCTS – Purchaser must inspect every product at time of delivery or pick-up. If a product is defective or damaged at such time, product must be refused and will be repaired or replaced in accordance with manufacturer warranties and policies. All delivery related issues must be reported & noted at time of delivery.

3) DEPOSITS & FINAL PAYMENT – Deposits on Special Order products are non-refundable. Orders MUST be paid in full 10 days PRIOR to delivery or the delivery will be rescheduled to the next available opening. Final balance to be remitted as per negotiated terms, if paying by cheque please remit to: TA Appliance Inc. 932 Victoria St North Kitchener, ON N2B 1W4.

4) INVOICE DATE – The anticipated delivery date selected must be as accurate as possible. If you require a date change more than 2 weeks from your original selected date, TA requires full payment to be made on the balance of the invoice by the original selected delivery date. Invoices will be held for a maximum of 9 months from the written date, with the balance of the invoice being paid in full at 6 months from the written date (subject to inventory types listed below).

5) DELIVERY – TA cares about the safety of our drivers. For any delivery site deemed unsafe TA reserves the right to cancel delivery. A redelivery charge will apply for any delivery attempted but not met due to customer not home, unsafe conditions, product does not fit, or refusal by recipient. TA delivery teams do not install, connect* or disconnect product from water, gas or electrical sources, install anti-tip brackets or stack washers & dryers that require holes to be drilled. These services can be performed by a qualified installer. Installer referral can be given upon request.

*TA Delivery teams can connect Washers & Electric Dryers at the time of delivery if all of the following terms are met:

  • Old Washer hoses must be fully disconnected and NEW washer hoses must be present (customer responsibility)
  • Electric Dryer venting must be CSA approved venting
  • Approved venting will be connected to dryer only NOT wall discharge

 

6) APPLIANCE REMOVAL – The removal of an old appliance is on a one-for-one basis, at the time of delivery. Additional charges apply and service must be noted on invoice. TA reserves the right to refuse this service at time of delivery if deemed unsafe and service charge will be refunded.

7) ORDER ACCURACY – Verify all your product specifications to the requirements and openings in your home and product site. Specifications are for planning purposes only and subject to change by manufacturer without notice. TA will not be responsible for products that do not fit or that cannot be installed due to site limitations.

8) REBATES (IF APPLICABLE) – All rebates are only valid for the dates specified by the manufacturer and will only be honoured if the specific program conditions are met.

9) TYPE CODES – the following rules apply to each of the product types specified below, based on product type codes at time of purchase:

O – SPECIAL ORDER - Requires a 25% non-refundable deposit at time of purchase and requires a manufacturer specified lead time to order. A 100% non- refundable deposit is required for all custom order pieces as deemed by TA Appliances. Additional delivery charges apply if part of partial shipment.
B – SPECIAL BUY - Requires a 25% non-refundable deposit at time of purchase and must be delivered/picked-up within 30 days of purchase. Product may be held for an additional 30 days if the order is paid in full. Additional delivery charges apply if part of partial shipment.

Q – SPECIAL BUY - Requires a 25% non-refundable deposit at time of purchase and must be delivered/picked-up within 180 days of purchase. Additional delivery charges apply if part of partial shipment.
C – CORE MODEL – Requires a 25% non-refundable deposit at time of purchase. Additional delivery charges apply if part of partial shipment.
L – CLEARANCE - Requires a 25% non-refundable deposit at time of purchase and must be delivered/picked-up within 30 days of purchase. Additional delivery charges apply if part of partial shipment.

F – FLOOR MODEL - Requires a 100% non-refundable deposit at time of purchase and must be delivered/picked-up within 7 days of purchase. Additional delivery charges apply if part of partial shipment.

10) VENTILATION – Custom order ventilation requires a 100% non-refundable deposit at time of purchase. All other ventilation falls within the Product Type Codes listed above.
