Serving Up Size: How to Make a Gigantic Kebob That Impresses

A rotisserie is a great addition to any grill, but we felt sometimes rotisserie chicken and beef roasts can get a little boring. That’s when we had the idea to use the rotisserie stick as a giant skewer and make a massive kebab! This giant kebab is perfect for your next backyard barbecue party offering deliciously juicy chunks of meat and lots of veggies to cut up, all while saving you the hassle of making 20 little kebabs and cooking them individually. You can also watch us make it on YouTube!

If you want to try making this at home, you’ll need:

  1. Begin by peeling your onions, cutting them in half, and washing the tomatoes and green peppers.
  2. Carefully skewer the ingredients onto the rotisserie stick, alternating beef, with the onion and pepper, with a whole tomato on either end.
  3. Set your rotisserie to 300F and load your rotisserie stick onto the grill.
  4. After around 1 hour, increase the temperature to 450F and brush with BBQ sauce.
  5. Let the BBQ sauce cook into the meat for 20 minutes before brushing with more BBQ sauce and allowing to cook an additional 20 minutes.
  6. At this point, your meat should be Medium Rare near the ends and slowly getting closer to Medium Well as it gets to the middle of the skewer.
  7. Remove the rotisserie from your grill and remove all the ingredients from the stick.
  8. Cut up the tomato, peppers, and onions, slice the beef and enjoy!

This is a great way to do kebabs for a whole family or party of people. Also, try doing a chipotle lime rub or taco seasoning to make fantastic fajitas!
