Every griller knows that ribs are one of the staple foods to great backyard barbecue. Thankfully using a gas grill to make ribs has never been easier. With the Broil King Rib & Roast Rack you can easily double or triple the amount you can cook at once. Using vertical alignment the Rib& Roast Rack allows you to place up to 5 racks of ribs in a very tight area while maintaining even heat distribution. The Rib & Roast Rack is a summer must have for the outdoor entertainer. Here is a step by step guide on how to make great ribs every time with your Broil King Rib & Roast Rack.

Step 1: Get a Broil King® Rib & Roast Rack from TA Appliances

Step 2: Grab your favorite cut of ribs. We recommend side ribs for the best fit in your rib rack.

Step 3: Preheat barbecue to 375°F or 190°C. Set up the grill for indirect cooking. Box heat is the key here.

Step 4: Prepare your ribs. First remove the membrane from the bottom of your ribs. This can be done by peeling the membrane back with a knife then tearing it off by hand. Use a piece of paper towel to get a better grip on the membrane when tearing it back. Once removed season your ribs on both sides with your favorite dry rub. We recommend a brown sugar based rub to maximize sweetness – like this one Sweet and Spicy Rub

Step 5: Place your ribs on the rib rack all in one direction with the larger end down. If only doing a couple racks leave space between them to allow the heat to penetrate the meat better.

Step 6: Put Rib Rack on the barbecue away from direct heat and allow cooking for 2-3 hours. Cooking times will vary based on rib size so check tenderness periodically to avoid over cooking. Try to keep the lid closed as much as you can to keep the heat locked in the barbecue.

Step 7: Once your ribs are fully cooked you can add your sauce. Carefully remove ribs from your rib rack and place directly on the cooking grids of your gas grill. Turn all burners to medium heat and apply sauce as needed. For best results pre-heat your sauce before applying. This Maple Barbecue Sauce is an easy DIY option.

Enjoy!
