Smoked salmon on a Broil King pellet grill

By Chef Brendan

Smoking salmon on a Broil King Pellet Grill is a great way to infuse it with a smoky flavour and make it tender and juicy. Here's a recipe to get you started:

Ingredients:

1 lb. salmon fillet
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. kosher salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. dried dill
Apple blend pellets

Instructions:

Preheat your Broil King Pellet Grill to 200°F (93°C) using applewood pellets.

In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried dill.

Place the salmon fillet skin-side down on a piece of aluminum foil.
Rub the spice mixture onto the flesh of the salmon fillet, and coat it evenly.

Place the aluminum foil with the salmon fillet on the grill grates and close the lid.
Smoke the salmon for 2-3 hours or until the internal temperature of the thickest part of the salmon reaches 145°F (63°C).

Once the salmon is fully cooked, carefully remove it from the grill and allow the salmon to rest for a few minutes before serving.

Enjoy your delicious smoked salmon! You can serve it as is or with your favourite side dishes.
